These terms and conditions regulate the business relationship between The Door Enterprises Ltd T/A Aroha Chocolate and yourself. By using our website in any way, or by purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by them.
We reserve the right to amend this notice at any time without notice. As you are bound by these terms & conditions while using our site we recommend that you check these terms whenever you access this site.
 
Agreement Definitions
“You” any individual interacting with our site be that for personal use or on behalf of a business.
“We”, “Our”, “Ourselves” The Door Enterprises Ltd T/A Aroha Chocolate.

“Content” the textual, visual or audio content that is encountered on our website. It may include, among other things: text, images, sounds, videos and animations.

Product Information
  1. We strive to ensure that our products descriptions are accurate as possible, however we do not warrant that the description is accurate. Where we become aware of any misdescription, we reserve the right to correct any error or omission.
  2. Images have been provided for illustrative purposes only and we do not guarantee that any image will reproduce in true colour nor that any given image will reflect or portray the full design or options relating to that product.
Product Orders & Delivery
  1. Our products are for sale to adults over the age of eighteen (18) years. By proceeding to purchase through our website, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any sale or user account.
  3. If we cancel any order the full amount of the purchase will be refunded.
  4. While most orders are ready for dispatch within 1-2 business days, depending what time and what products you order, some orders may take additional time to prepare.
  5. Packaging and postage is an additional charge, calculated at time of purchase.
  6. When you order from us, we require you to provide your name, billing address, delivery address, your email address, telephone contact and credit card details. We undertake to take due care with this information; however in providing us with such information you accept that we are not liable for its misuse due to error in transmission or virus or malware.
  7. We can not guarantee any delivery time or date.
  8. We are in no way liable for any loss or damages, once we have handed items to our courier service.
  9. All prices displayed on this site are in NZD.
  10. Our free shipping offer is calculated based on meeting a minimum order value (the shipping threshold) and applies to shipping to a single destination only. Shipping to One Destination: If your order total meets the shipping threshold (e.g., $95), you will receive one free shipping credit for that single destination. Shipping to Multiple Destinations: If your order needs to be shipped to multiple addresses, you must meet the shipping threshold for each separate destination to receive free shipping for that specific address.
User account cancellation
  1. We reserve the right to remove anyone from our email newsletter at our discretion.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any sale or user account. We will notify you if this is to happen but are not obligated to give reasons.
  3. If we cancel any order the full amount of the purchase will be refunded.
  4. If you wish to have your account removed you must contact us with the request and confirm via email to help us insure your identity. There is no obligation to give any reason for the account removal.
  5. Once an account has been remove all sale history, personal information and payment options will be removed from our site.
Order Cancellation
  1. Where a product has been listed at the incorrect price or with incorrect descriptive information or image due to typographical error or similar oversight, we reserve the right to cancel a transaction. Where your credit card has been charged, we will refund your credit card for the total amount debited.
  2. We only accept your order cancellation if the order has not been dispatched. Where your credit card has been charged, we will refund your credit card for the total amount debited less any payment gateway fees and the price of any customised material that has been produced due to your order. Refunds can take 5-10 working days to appear on your statement.
Product Returns
  1. We will reimburse you or replace any product delivered to you that is faulty or is in a damaged condition as long as you contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We may request photographs of the items for the use of a claim.
  2. We do not offer a return or exchange on any products after dispatch due to health and safety.
Site Access
  1. When you visit our website, we give you a limited licence to access and use our information for personal use.
  2. Under the Copyright Act, you are not permitted to copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or display any of the information on this website without our prior written permission.
  3. The licence to access and use the information on our website does not include the right to use any data mining robots or other extraction tools. The licence also does not permit you to metatag or mirror our website without our prior written permission. We reserve the right to serve you with notice if we become aware of your metatag or mirroring of our website.

Such links are provided for convenience only and we take no responsibility for the content and maintenance of or privacy compliance by any linked website.   5. The best before dates specified on Aroha Chocolate products must not altered or tampered with.
  6. You agree not to re-brand or repackage Aroha Chocolate products to create the illusion that they were produced by anyone other than Aroha Chocolate.
  7. You agree not to use Aroha Chocolate packaging or trademarked logo with anything other Chocolate product, not produced by Aroha Chocolate.
  8. If Aroha chocolates are offered without Aroha Chocolate branded packaging, you agree to make every effort to displaying the statement “Product of Aroha Chocolate” or any other form of clear and visible acknowledgement that the chocolates are produced by Aroha Chocolate.
Disclaimers
  1. We take all due care in ensuring that our website is free of any virus, worm, Trojan horse and/or malware, however we are not responsible for any damage to your computer system which arises in connection with your use of our website or any linked website.
  2. From time to time we may host third party content on our website such as advertisements and endorsements belonging to other traders. Responsibility for the content of such material rests with the owners of that material and we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in such material.
Indemnity
  1. By accessing our website, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or in connection with your use of our website.
Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and any claim made by either party against the other which in any way arises out of these terms and conditions will be heard in New Zealand and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those Courts.
  2. If any provision in these terms and conditions is invalid under any law the provision will be limited, narrowed, construed or altered as necessary to render it valid but only to the extent necessary to achieve such validity. If necessary the invalid provision will be deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Donations & Fundraising
  1. You will need to supply details on the charity and what you wish to achieve with this support.
  2. We require you to mention us as supporters wherever possible, be that verbal, print or social media.
  3. Application acceptance is at our discretion and we can cancelled at any time.
  4. If for any reason we find you have been misleading in any way to ourselves or our customers we reserve the right to reallocate donations to any other non-profit organisation of our choosing.
Gift Cards

1. Our gift codes should be treated as cash. Only share with those you intend to use it, we are not liable for loss or misuse of this code.
2. If this code is used for multiple orders, free shipping is applied to your first order only.
3. Our gift codes are for use on our online store only and are not redeemable for cash, money transfer or physical in-store sales.
4. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all email or shipping addresses are correct. We take no responsibility for losses in the event of incorrect details being supplied.
5. Gift cards have an expiry date of 3 years from date of purchase and may not be used in combination with some of our promotions.
